Chocolate Swirly Buns
These buns turned out super soft with a buttery flavour and dark chocolate swirl running through them. They were fun to shape.
Apple Pie
I had intended to make this dessert to celebrate Hillary Clinton's win. What could be more American than apple pie? But alas, things with the elections were not meant to be. However, the crust turned out extra flaky? Coincidence?
Rainbow Cupcakes
Ok, so mine didn't turn out looking like the recipe photos I was inspired by. The layers didn't stay neatly in straight lines but rather rose up like a tie dye tidal wave. But the kids loved them and they were for the Houghton Valley School fair bake sale, a burst of color on a cloudy day.
